The National Lottery recorded its highest ever digital sales last year of £3.5 billion – +42.8% up on the previous year – and saw 2.7 million new online registrations. The ongoing enhancements we’ve been making to The National Lottery’s iPhone and Android mobile apps continues to drive record sales through them – with sales through smartphones and tablets now accounting for around 70% of all digital sales. And the brand new look and feel for the National Lottery website and apps that we developed at the end of 2019 has made them more user-friendly, easier to navigate and full of more engaging content.
