At Camelot, we’re responsible for operating The National Lottery – one of the UK's most well-known and life-changing brands.

Whether it’s the way we work with the wider National Lottery family to highlight the amazing difference that National Lottery players make week in, week out for UK Good Causes, or the incredible after-care programme we have in place for major National Lottery prize winners, we’ve made a winning business of running one of the world's most successful lotteries.

Our strategy for long-term, responsible growth is based on offering players a balanced and appealing range of National Lottery games that offers something for everyone, and making our games as accessible as possible so that people can play anytime, anywhere and on any device. This approach has seen total National Lottery sales grow by around 60% over the course of our third National Lottery licence.

Fundamental to this is our embedded focus on healthy play – encouraging lots of people to play but to only spend relatively small amounts individually. Two-thirds of UK adults – almost 36 million people – played National Lottery games at least once last year, so even though the inherent risk of unhealthy play associated with National Lottery products remains very low, we recognise that, because of our scale, we must continue to do everything we can to encourage and support healthy play wherever possible.
