For 1,300 GB athletes, every run, jump, jab and backflip on the road to the 2016 Rio Olympics has been helped along with National Lottery funding
From sprinters to long-jumpers, boxers to gymnasts, Britain’s elite athletes will be fine tuning their training in the run up this summer’s Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
For more than 1,300 of them, being able to train full-time and have access to the best coaching, facilities and medical support, has all been made possible by funding from the National Lottery.
Take a look at the latest instalment in this series of films – shot by GB athletes themselves – as we go behind the scenes to see what it takes to be the best on the road to Rio and beyond.
