Our Responsibilities Employee Engagement

As a lottery operator reliant on the trust of our stakeholders, it is essential that our staff are involved at every level with our commitment to responsible gaming – and passionate about the social benefits that our business creates.

Our Staff Forum is the focal point of dialogue between employees and senior management. Forum members are elected by their colleagues and represent the majority of business units in Camelot. They meet each month to discuss every aspect of our workplace, including any major policies that will have an impact on employees – like reward and recognition policies, structural changes, or terms and conditions.

This year the Staff Forum was involved in a number of significant issues for the Company. The Forum:

• Was a key stakeholder in the corporate restructure
• Consulted on changes to our Childcare Vouchers provision
• Consulted during design stages of the staff survey
• Held discussions over the loss of car parking space at head office
• Advised on the new performance management process
• Lobbied to get Blackberrys for the sales team
• Helped redefine the standards for advertising roles internally.
