Our Responsibilities Leading internationally

We take our responsibilities in the wider world of sustainable gaming very seriously.

We have taken leadership positions in a range of bodies and initiatives designed to raise standards and strengthen responsible gaming internationally.

Our Chief Executive, Dianne Thompson, co-chairs the World Lotteries Association (WLA) Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee, and champions responsible gaming on the European Lotteries (EL) and WLA executive committees.

Our Head of Corporate Responsibility chairs the EL Responsible Gaming Working Group and co-chairs the WLA CSR Working Group.

This year, we led the development of the EL Responsible Gaming Standards and accompanying certification framework, which was ratified in June 2009 at the EL General Assembly in Istanbul. We have achieved this certification, as well as the highest level – level 4 - of WLA Responsible Gaming accreditation, and view these accreditations as catalysts for continuous improvement.
