Our Responsibilities Responsibility for the Future
At the start of the 2011/12 financial year Camelot moved to a new group structure to support both our core UK National Lottery business, and our plans for international growth and diversification.
Corporate responsibility will remain central to the way that Camelot and our subsidiaries operate. We will use a common business model for corporate responsibility across the group, which makes a clear distinction between our regulated and unregulated operations.
The Corporate Responsibility team, made up of experts in player protection, environment, workplace and community, will sit at the heart of the new global organisation and will have three main aims:
• Identify and evolve international industry best practice
• Standardise and embed corporate responsibility policy across the Camelot Group of companies
• Support business diversification, adapting to local needs and expectations
This new structure will enable us to continue investing in the evolution of best practice in corporate responsibility engagement, policy, and procedure. It will also allow us to share best practice, to the benefit of the whole gaming industry and its customers.
Embedding corporate responsibility standards across our subsidiaries will help us to provide clear leadership, direction and accountability – while keeping down our costs, and ensuring more money goes to good causes.
