Our Responsibilities Reporting and Assurance Processes

Transparency and accountability are fundamental to operating lotteries anywhere in the world.

Our reporting and assurance processes are designed to ensure that Camelot as a company and our staff as individuals can be properly held to account against our corporate values.

We engage with external initiatives such as Business in the Community's (BITC) Corporate Responsibility Index, and have adopted their reporting framework. We also gather feedback from our stakeholders and use a number of independent certification schemes.

Reporting
We believe reporting helps us to be more accountable to internal and external stakeholders, and we are committed to reporting regularly and comprehensively. Our approach is continuously evolving – this year our main report is web-based, supported by a printed summary version.

Assurance
Our internal audit department conducted an assurance review of this report including a detailed review of all environmental data, to provide assurance that the data is accurate and in accordance with underlying records.  All of our key performance indicators [link] were assured on a limited basis in accordance with ISAE3000 by Deloitte, to ensure that they are not materially misstated in transposition from the data collected.
