Our Responsibilities Policies and processes

To maintain our international reputation as a trusted and responsible lottery operator, we have developed written policies covering many aspects of social, environmental and ethical behaviour.

The Camelot Code of Conduct
The Camelot Code is a guide for employees to help them ensure that they always do business and behave in line with our values. It includes policies on confidentiality, conflicts of interest, gifts and entertainment, and intellectual property and security, and it outlines our whistle-blowing, anti-bribery and corruption policies.

Whistle-blowing
Camelot is committed to tackling any malpractice within the company, and will support staff, sub-contractors, or suppliers who raise concerns about fraud, corruption, or conduct that does not meet our high standards of integrity and transparency.

Strategies for preventing underage play and excessive play
Our strategies are aimed at understanding the impact of National Lottery products on gambling problems in society; promoting responsible play amongst our players; preventing excessive and under age play; supporting treatment where problems cannot be prevented; and promoting the need for responsible gaming programmes across the lottery sector.

Purchasing & tendering
We aim to treat suppliers fairly and responsibly. This policy provides advice and guidance to all staff involved in the process of purchasing goods and services on behalf of Camelot.

Community involvement
We run a number of initiatives to encourage employees to contribute to society. This policy includes   the objectives of the Community Investment Policy.

Disability
Camelot will not discriminate against employees because of their disability. We assess and support employees' needs, and where necessary make reasonable adjustments to their working environment.

Our disability policy gives full details of our commitment to employees with disabilities, as well as our aim to make sure our games are accessible to all.

Environment
We are committed to minimising our direct and indirect impacts on the environment. We recognise that impacts can occur through the consumption of energy, fuel, and other resources at our offices and operations, the production of waste, and through services used in our daily business operations of production, storage, promotion and distribution of material relating to National Lottery games.

Health & Safety
We are committed to ensuring that the health and safety of all Camelot employees is protected. This policy sets out the overall aims, organisation and arrangements put in place to ensure high standards of health and safety. It has links to individual policies which cover specific areas of health and safety in the workplace.

Diversity
Camelot does not tolerate any discrimination in the workplace and we believe that every individual should be treated equally and fairly. This policy also includes a brief summary of how employees can complain if they feel they are being discriminated against.
