Our Responsibilities Our CR approach

Corporate responsibility is embedded into the way Camelot does business. We are internationally recognised for operating the UK National Lottery in a responsible way and for our world-leading player protection measures.

We firmly believe in taking responsibility for the impact our activities have on our stakeholders and the environment. We put these values into practice by integrating them into our overall business strategy and by employing robust governance structures – including our Corporate Responsibility Code.

Our Corporate Responsibility Board (CRB) is responsible for deciding the strategic direction of our corporate responsibility plans.

Chaired by the Group CEO, it includes representatives from sales, marketing, finance, operations and corporate affairs – whose job it is to ensure our corporate responsibility strategies are championed within their departments, and importantly, to identify areas where improvements can be made.

The CRB is supported by our Player Protection Panel and Stakeholder Engagement Panel which meet regularly and report on how to best achieve our corporate responsibility targets.

Camelot also receives expert advice from an independent Advisory Panel for Corporate Responsibility, whose members each represent a specific stakeholder perspective. The panel provides a forum for debating Camelot’s corporate responsibility priorities and making sure the interests of all stakeholder groups are considered.
