Tell us a little about your role and what your team does.
I manage a team of BI support and development professionals, who provide BI reporting, CRM systems and data federation services to the rest of the business and our external partners.
Describe what you do in a sentence or two.
The main task of my developers is to build, support and monitor ETL; Extracting, Transforming and Loading data from our operational systems into our Data Warehouse and Big Data Platforms, to make it more usable for reporting, analytics and use in other business systems. We work on a cross-functional Dev/ops basis, which means we work on large and small projects, day to day small change and requests, maintenance, incident support and continuous platform improvements.
