Camelot Statement
National Lottery operator Camelot has today announced that it will be issuing judicial review proceedings against the Gambling Commission for its continuing failure to take appropriate regulatory action against The Health Lottery. Formal papers will be lodged in the High Court early next week. Camelot has instructed Lord Pannick QC to act on its behalf.

Camelot bids to boost lottery funding by an additional £2 billion
National Lottery operator Camelot has today revealed plans to raise an additional £2 billion in funding for the Good Causes and Exchequer over the next 12 years. The initiative, which has been formally submitted to the National Lottery Commission (NLC) for approval, follows Camelot achieving record annual sales of over £5.8 billion in 2010/11.

Camelot sets new National Lottery sales record
National Lottery operator Camelot today announced that it is has achieved record ticket sales for the 2010/11 financial year. In the year to 31 March 2011, Camelot grew total National Lottery sales across all channels to an all-time high of £5,822.4m, an increase of £370.6m (6.8%) on the previous year.
