2007/2008 – What we’ve done and what we’re doing
Welcome to Camelot’s Corporate Responsibility Report 2007/08
This report tells you how we go about the business of running The National Lottery, and what we do to make sure we raise as much money as we can for the Good Causes in an effective and socially responsible way. It also reflects how we worked to maintain our commitment to Corporate Responsibility during a uniquely challenging year – when we won the bid for the third lottery Licence and began the transition to the third lottery Licence while ensuring we continued to maximise returns to the Good Causes.
-
Stakeholder engagement
Stakeholder engagement is at the heart of what we do to address our social and environmental impacts.
-
Responsible play
The success of The National Lottery depends on our continued ability to understand and meet the needs of players while protecting the vulnerable.
-
Environmental impact
It is vital to reduce our environmental footprint so that the environmental benefits brought by Good Causes funding are not in any way compromised by the process of raising that money.
