In addition, The National Lottery contributed £2.2 billion towards staging the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games – the largest sum from a single organisation and the biggest-ever lottery-funded project to date – which will leave a lasting sporting legacy for the entire UK.
Under Camelot’s stewardship, total National Lottery sales have increased by over 52% in the last decade, a period of time that has seen both economic austerity and growth.
